Question ISP disconnects
Hi,

My ISP has been disconnecting me 3 or 4 times over a weekend. Is there anything that can be done to stop this? I have tried Connection Keeper without success. I use XP

Thanks,

James

Some dialup connections will bump you off. It's normal. They usually do this to make way for others trying to get online. For example, mine will bump me every six hours.

Look in your Event Viewr and see if there is a pattern to your connects and disconnects. Mine will read six hours like clockwork.

Try to use different access numbers. But I hav to agree with Bold_Fortune, you will get disconnected every once in a while.
