Create Your Own Email Notification
This is for the pc challenged of us that don't have the programs to do this.

Go to this link and type in what you want to hear on your email notification. Pick a voice and put a tick in the box "Display a link for the audio file" and click Speak. Right click the link and select "Save Target As" and pick a place to store it on your pc.

Then go to Control Panel\Sounds\New Mail Notification\Browse to the file you created\click on it then click Ok. Click the right arrow button to the right of Preview to hear it then click Apply and OK.

This works on my W98SE box.

I lost it some time ago and haven't thought to look for it again until now but I used to have a wav file of the page (can't remember his name or the name of the knight -- sorry it's been a while) in Monty Python and The Holy Grail getting hit by an arrow and saying "message for you sir"

Okay I found it pretty quickly. It was Launcelot's page Concorde. I found that and a bunch of other mail notification sound bites at http://www.slonet.org/~rloomis/mailcall.html

Thank you both so much!!!
Every single time I've asked a question or needed help, someone has responded. Thanks, both of you, very much for taking the time to reply.

Hope you have a wonderful day. Take care .. *S*
