coolwebsearch removal
go to a url "www.hsremove.com" then download "hsremove.exe" and run this program. 2x.... after the first run turn off system restore to delete any infected files...delete any temp files...run the program again...then turn system restore on and create a clean check point. I have used this proceedure on 24 systems without any problems...

Interesting
From what I can get out, that will "try" to remove only one variant. So it is not a fix all for CWS.

Unfortunately, the only logs I have found that were cleaned with this, were the thread authors posting back that it worked.

The creator of HSRemove makes it too difficult to use for the average user because of all the steps involved.

He has also released 3 different version in as many days.
