Telephone book
Would like to make up a telephone book for our club, (100 members).
Is there a program for making up a phnoe directory?

alder343...you said a phnoe directory.. i know of no phone directory program myself...maybe somebody here on the forms does....sorry.. and posts it below this...

Could you just use Word or excel. what exactly do you want it to do. Also, the price range may help out a little bit.

I believe that you can find a very simple solution by making a database in microsoft access. This will let you this will let you view ,update and locate entries very quickly. It will also produce very professional -looking reports.
Hope this helps.
P.S. I am just learning access myself (self taught ) does not look too complicated.

So I misspelled phone, I majored in Math not English. Just a little ole farm boy from Nebr.
Anyway I have sat up the listing of names itc for my directory in access and am able to mail merge the access data into word. Now I would like to print the 12 pages of info into book form. Want to print on both sides of folded pages. ie:folded (8 1/2 x 11 pages).
Seems to me that one should be able to print a book using word and print the different page numbers on each page but have been unable to locate any type of help from MS Word 2000 help.
What program do authors use to print their books??
BTW I recently taught myself Access using the Video Professors program. Was very helpful. Three CD's for $69.00.
