Excel - copying multiple cells
This is probably well-known, but i've only just realised this:


When copying multiple (non-adjacent) cells in Microsoft Excel, you tend to get an error message saying "That command cannot be used on multiple selections".


However, if the non-adjacent cells are in the same row then they can indeed be copied (this is also true if the cells are in the same column as each other).

As soon as the multiple cells breach into a different row or column, Excel will prevent the cells from being copied.
