Your welcome Joe.

They use to have at there site a MORE link that had another page of links but that is not there any more but I was able to find the one great one " Protecting Your Privacy & Security" so I would edit the list of list and add it to the list.

https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/main-nf.htm

I also changed the bookmark.html name to "List of List.html".

hewee, THANK YOU for that list. However, I did notice it's missing a chat client that some of us have found courtesty of TechTV and THEY didn't even know they were giving it out! THEY thought they were JUST recommending the company that hosts the client, LOL.

It's a relative newcomer on the block but very stable. And functions like a cross between yahoo/AIM/ and ICQ. You can't click on links sent in the program but you can copu and past.

The client is known as habichat and you can find it at: http://www.binarybiz.com/habichat/ A bunch of my friends had been looking for a replacement for AIM and I stumbled on habichat and we LOVE IT! Liz

Your welcome southernlady and gojo.

I did not make up the list so. I will also never install any type of chat program on my PC.

There is one java chat program that is free and you can host it on your web site or just use there site. http://www.sigmachat.com/

It is nothing fancy or the free version is not but it is free.
I had one setup that I ran from the site so all I had to do is login. I had not been there in a long time so they closed it. "Basic (free) accounts are deleted after 90 days of inactivity" But you can set it up so your not listed so no one knows you have the site and then just give out the address to who you want to have it.

Wow I went to the sign up again and all the info was there I used before so it is reading it from my cookie. Only thing to do is recheck some of the boxes on being listed etc.
