Glass 2k (google it) (free tiny program makes your windows transparent)(free)
Avg anti-virus (free)
NetMeter(Free) Monitor your internet speed. If you think you have spyware kick this on. See if anything is leaving your computer. Has Graphs (Tiny program)
Clear Tuning (Free) Change your typeset.
CableNut (Free) By Far the best at tweaking your settings for modeum, dsl, cable connections!!! (even has presets you can use.)

Please forgive my spelling and such. Im New at this posting stuff. Im more of a geek and tweak freak.

One last question. How many beside myself have ever hit what I like to call the "O well Heck" button. Hit that whatever button and had to reload windows?? Guess thats how we learn. Look forward to posting with all........peace........im out

Hi helloimtim:

Welcome to TSG. Thanks for the freeware programs. As you read through alot of these threads, you will come across freeware programs that some of our members will introduce to you. Just enter "Freeware" into the Search at top of the page and quite a few threads will appear dealing with freeware. This forum is a good source for a lot of Tech information.

it would help if you give a link to the site, or else it is impossible to find those programs you mentioned and also if they have adware or not?

They're freeware not adware. Can't you view my signature (maybe it's diabled in your profile)? Those are links to my freeware site and forum.
