Sticky notes for your PC
Remember all the hype about a "paperless society?" Somehow, the experts
failed to predict the mass appeal of sticky notes. Being in the computer
biz, I've seen my share of monitors peeking past a flurry of sticky notes.

So, wouldn't you know it--someone came up with a computerized version!

Stickies 5.0 is a simple text-based tool that will not mess with your system
files or write to your Registry. And it looks just like a little yellow
sticky.

Once on the screen, Stickies remain where they're placed, even through
reboots. You can hide them, e-mail them or have them act as reminders. And
unlike paper sticky notes, your office will never run out of them!

Thanks I will have to check it out.

Got StickyNote 9.0 from Tenebril here http://www.tenebril.com/products/stickynote/ for free from them along with most of there other software from contest I won.
But I really have no need for it or how it works.

I'd been using the "notes" feature of Outlook, which is very stickie-like, and loved the idea but not the execution. This software looks much more versatile. Can't wait to try it out. Thx!

Would be nice to be able to stick them on an angle, or upside down, or partialy obscuring something (like the taskbar) ... would be just like real ones then ...

On this one if you delete the note it goes in to it's own trash bin and if you recover it from the trash it looks like it was in the trash can too.
