Lightbulb Modem Tweaks
1.If your modem takes a long time to connect to the internet, here is your solution. Open up dial-up networking(which is located in my computer),right click your connection and choose properties. On the Server Types Tab,and under Advanced Options, make sure that the check-box for Log on to network is unchecked. Under Allowed network protocols, select only TCP/IP and uncheck Net BEUI and IPX/SPX.

2. If the dialing speed to connect to the internet is slow, try this out.Go to Control Panel/Modems, select your modem and click on properties. Open the connection tab and click on Advanced. Enter S11=40 in the extra settings field.
