Arrow How Do I Prevent IE from saving my search result.
When i go to google.com and type in a search i close the window. I got back to google and type the first few letters of the same search and a little drop window opens with the search results. It never did this before. Why did it start and how do i get it to stop?

Thanks.

You can simply delete them by keeping it highlighted and press Delete.

after surfing the net on IE

simply go to Tools > Internet Options... > Deletes Files... > Ok
Tools > Internet Options... > Delete Cookies... > Ok

Apply > Ok.

i think you shuold be fine, and i dont think the autocomplete shuold be there.

or simply get Mozilla Firefox or Opera.

Hi jesvingeorge---That's exactly the info in the link I posted. Also at that site is info about the extra Search saving feature you get with XP, which will save some people from frustration with Autocomplete.

Just load and use this lil jewel. Cleans a ton of areas, including the IE history. You can select exactly what you want it to clean. I use it at least once daily.
