1. In Explorer go to \Windows\Favorites
2. Right-click on the Links Folder
3. From the menu select Properties
4. Place a Check-mark in the attributes box for Hidden
Sweet . . .

I actually meant the Links folder in the Favorites menu. | | Senior Member with 317 posts. | | | | C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Favorites\Links
You need to apply this reg tweak to delete the Links folder permanently:
------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar]
"LinksFolderName"=""

I keep my top favorites there, so I can access them quickly.
You can also place shortcuts there to other apps such as MS Word, Notepad, etc.
You can place other folders under it, so you can categorize the links in different ways. | | Senior Member with 670 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Florida, US Experience: Intermediate | | | | | Distinguished Member with 6,528 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: NYC | | Or for a more "complete" solution=> | | Senior Member with 670 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Florida, US Experience: Intermediate | | No joke! #11 | Hi Ben:
Ain't that a great one? Courtesy of Firefox's extension Smiley Xtra 3.01. In the computer section. Also has an enlarged FF icon, with the fox nibbling on the E, the E being the ocean. Nifty, but large. Happy New Year. | | Senior Member with 670 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Florida, US Experience: Intermediate |
