Question Son needs assistance with science fair project
My 8th grade son is working on a science fair project on computer viruses.
He has all the documentation he could find on computer viruses and spyware, and has the printed side of the project done.
He asked me to help him by creating an example of a virus to demonstrate how it can affect a computer.
Does anyone has any idea in how to do this without having to actually write a virus code (I know how to write some VB, but I am not a programmer, I am a Network Admin).
He will have a PC to use for the project and I can fix anything that goes wrong with it.
I was thinking that maybe if I could find a way to download a virus to a disk and then use it the infect the system, it might work.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas.

Link removed

Links to viruses are NOT allowed on this site

It is totally irresposible to post a link to any such site and is against forum rules

Try this virus "test" file...
Go here for a virus test file. Read the entire page prior to using the file!!
