Helpful tips for U.
Here's a few helpful tips for U.

If you find yourself frequently accessing the Properties information for a file, folder, or icon, there is an easier way than right-clicking the item, then selecting Properties. Simply hold down the Alt key on your keyboard and double-click the item. The Properties box should appear fairly quickly.

If you're surfing the Internet and you encounter a popup Window with no apparent way to close it - what should you do? Tap the "Alt" + "F4" key and you'll close the window in focus. This is also a good way to close Popup windows that may be trying to goad you into installing spyware. Some types of popups will install spyware regardless of where you click on it, including the X in the top right corner. So, if you encounter a situation with a popup and you're not sure what to do, you're always safe closing that window with the "Alt" + "F4" key combination.

If you ever need to have your computer repaired, you could help the technician by printing list of all the components inside it and how they were set up when Windows was working properly. This is very easy to do. Simply right-click the My Computer icon on the Windows Desktop and select properties. Click the hardware tab then the Device Manager Tab. Click on any of the devices which appear (to expand the toolbar) and then click the print icon and select "All Devices and system summary" then click OK.

Actually, Alt-F4 and the Close Window X take you to the exact same code in an application.
