Tip for TSG newbies
If you post and/ or wish to follow threads on TSG you can make a short cut in your Start menue to the search page of TSG. http://forums.techguy.org/search.php?s=
This way you come directly to the search page first and on the right type in your TSG user name and go directly to a list of threads you have posted or posted in.
That way you can check those first for add'l activity without having to go to each section looking for those you are interested in.
For those that you are interested in following but did not post in, just type a post in the thread ie "following" or something similar and it will show in your list of threads in search under your ID.
You can also just make a shortcut to it on your desktop or folder but you will end up with a clutter of shortcuts of which you will have to rename to remember what they were about.

If the thread is really informative on a subject, you can "save" it, 2ways= Complete or Html only. This way you have a saved copy and can put it in a folder or to a disk if you like for future reference.

Others here may do it differently or have better ways.

I failed to mention that in thread tools you can subscribe to a thread and search that list also.

TSG I hope it was ok to note such a tip esp on the search aspect. Does doing this overload the sites system?
