still use 98.
Windows 98 isn't crappy. Its only real drawback is that it crashes frequently. When XP came out it cost $400.00. Plus no software was compatible with it. Plus you had to get everything updated. Plus you had to relearn all new software.
Now all the bugs in XP have been worked out and everything's compatible with it. And the price is about $50.00, not $400. But now everybody's gearing up for
Longhorn. Just think in 5 years we all will have to go through the whole thing again, and again, and again.....

The only feature I'd like to have native to 98 is system recall but I already have that by using Norton GoBack.
I'm afraid I'll stay with 98 until there's a good reason to switch...
(BTW, Microsoft's reputation for releasing new OS's isn't exactly spotless. Witness: Windoze ME )
