Sending faxes from my computer?
Hello!

How could I go about setting up our computer to send out MS Word documnets via fax?

I had this set-up om my other computer, but I think I had a fax modem on that one, and not sure if my new computer has one!

I am running windows XP.

Thx,
Jarrett

You either need a modem and a dial-up line, or to subscribe to a service like www.efax.com to send them via the Internet.

Free Fax Programs?
I have a dsl modem. I was wondering if there are any good free reliable fax programs out there on the net that I could download? Rather than going through something like e-fax.

You can't fax through a DSL connection.

JohnWill listed your only options.

Since you have DSL, you also obviously have standard phone service. Connect your FAXmodem to the standard phone line (it will coexist with DSL) and use it to send/receive FAX.
