Quicker Email Contact
If there are some people that you send electronic mail to each and every day,
then instead of opening your mail client, then opening a new mail, and then addressing your contact, you can actually perform all of the above in one quick click!

Create a new shortcut, by right clicking on the desktop, hit "new", hit "shortcut".

In the box that pops up, type "mailto:", and then enter the recipient's email address.

For instance to create an example shortcut enter
mailto:name@hotmail.com

Save the shortcut on the desktop, or in the Start menu, or quick launch.

Create as many of these shortcuts as you like, and when you hit the shortcut, a pre-addressed email pops up.

You can also pre-set the subject & body by adding
?subject=This is the subject&body=Hi, this is the body.

Note that these work by opening your default mail client, so it generally won't work with Webmail.
