A few recent posts have motivated me to post this for anyones future reference. When installing a new version of InternetExplorer do not go back and start deleting folders that appear to be from the old version nor do you want to uninstall your current version of IE prior to the upgrade. Just run the upgrade and you'll be fine. Microsoft has integrated the process so if you start mucking with it you'll have nothing but problems now or in the future. There are other features built into IE like "Restore Back to Prior Windows Configuration" that will be useless if you delete pieces of prior IE versions. Any harddrive space gained it minimal and not worth the effort. Hope this helps someone who may have questions in there minds about IE upgrades.
