Does anyone know how to change the start up music for WIN 98 to an mp3? I've always wanted to change it to an mp3 so i can listen to a song instead of some boring little jingle. Thanks to anyone that might know.

yup--go to start -> settings -> control panel -> sounds. scroll down the list until you get to "Start Windows", click on browse and insert the file. I think you have to convert it to .wav first though, actually I know you do. You can change any of these sounds.

You will have to convert your mp3 to wav file. But converting mp3 to wav will make the file very large in size. Most mp3 are 2/5mb.When convert mp3 to wav the file will be about 20mb
