first of all, these won't be tips on how to tweak your Computer.
These will however be tips on how to keep a realativley safe computer!

I will post a list of systray porgrams i have running at all times...no matter the performance hit!

1)I have Norton ant-virus
i have yet to have/experience problems with this
2)Config-safe
a wicked application that takes a snapshot of your registry, .EXE's, and makes it possible to restore your computer to a working configuration when all else fails. Such as Scanreg /restore
3)HackTracer
Tihs will block out most Hackers and wannabe hackers....but most importantly it uses neo-trace technology to trace the hacker back to his/her origin!
I'm not 100% on this one, but then again..not too many hackers want to get into my computer!
4)GoBack
This program will literally make a copy of your HDD and compress it!(i think thats how ot works)
If you ever find your self in a Jam, you can restore your system, files, programs..etc.. to a previous date!
5)ZoneAlarmPro
As far as using a personal firewall, and restricting/blocking suspicious internet activity..this little program will also restrict any program that isn't authourized to access the Internet from doing so.EX: Trojans(Correct me if i'm wrong)

well, this has kept me alive thus far!
And to me it seems like a safe environment!
Any suggestions, or criticism is welcome:
As long as its not flat out bashing!
