Just thought I'd give MS Publisher users a tip on how to print Very Large documents. My W2000/128Kb RAM system would fall over with an insufficient memory error after printing 8 tiles of an A0 document (4 ft by 3ft poster at 300dpi - circa 66Mb .pub file)on my Epson Photo 700 printer. I finally got it to print the whole 25 tiles by:
1. Using the "Print to file" option
2. Redirecting my printer driver to port Lpt2: (temporarily)
3. Opening a Command Prompt (Dos window) and typing "Copy (printer file and path) Lpt1: (return)
This enabled the file to be copied to the printer without the Epson printer driver kicking in.
4. On completion Changing my printer port back to Lpt1:
