Cool Solved:
Did you know that Win98 and Me. will delete or hide items in your "Favorites" list when "IT" feels that you don't use often enough? To stop this in Win98: Open Internet Explorer, Select Tools, Select Internet Options, Click on the Advanced Tab, Scroll down till you see a box called: "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu" uncheck the box. Finished.
In Win. Me. Click on Start, slide up to settings, Select "Task Bar and Start Menu. UNCHECK "Use Personalized Menu" Click Apply. This will stop Me. from hidding some of your favorites.

Money Pit, I didn't see an Enable Personalized Favorites option, but I did see a Close Unused Folders In Favorites And History, which I unchecked. Does this accomplish the purpose? Thanks, grandpaw7

I've only seen that option under ME not under 98 SE

OK, last time I checked, it shouldn't matter what OS you are using, as IE is it's own beast!

I have the option that Money Pit refers to, and I have Win 98SE. The crucial element is that I am running IE 5.00.3105.0106IC. From what Moneypit was saying, this is an option that is built into ME, but not Win98.

Or ata least, that's what I make of it!

Sorry, seems to be some confusion here. I recently upgraded from Wim 98se to Win. Me. In MY Win.98se the box is titled "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu". In MY Win. Me. the box is titled, "Use Personalized Menu"
In BOTH cases, you uncheck these boxes.

It is only trying to help . If you don't let it and you or no one else does it ,you may end up with well over a thousand poorly organized items in favorites like I have.
