Just a little for those of you who buy your computer hardware online. Just under a year ago, I purchased a 20 GB Western Digital hard drive online. It worked great until thisLast weekend. The fan on my power supply died and because of the noise from other fans in my computer, I did not notice it was out until my drive started to click. I immediately turned it off and investigated. Long story short, the drive was not under warranty because the site that I bought it from originally bought the drive in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, I do not remember the site where I bought the drive from or whether they still exist. The site was based in the US and when I ordered the drive it was shipped to me from CA but before that apparently it started in Europe. The best that I can get now is a $30 credit from WD towards a new drive. Just a little advice, you never really know what you are getting.
