What do ya'll think about WINMX? I want to download some Christmas music and want a good quality source thats not expensive or maybe free.

WinMX is illegal....or shall I say WAS ILLEGAL....they got shut down (please see forum rules regarding P2P activities )

WinMX was not illegal. Most of the content on it was.

Theres probably alot of free sites that have generic christmas music.

The point is TSG doesn't support any P2P programs, or any hacks etc...

Itunes, its cheap and legal!

iTunes is by far the best.

I have NEVER trust such programs as WinMX and Kazaa and all that stuff... the amount of spyware and viruses they must come with... woo.

The reason for me not locking it is, the poster asked about inexpensive downloads as well. We have no problems directing her to legal music site

The thread locked by JohnWill clearly is asking for another illegal replacement for WinMX
