{Go from GIF to Flash} GIFs are okay, and I certainly love getting them at for my birthday, but c'mon... everyone knows that the Flash format is flashier. Bring your animated (or still) GIF images over to the shockwave format. How? Duh. With GIF2SWF. It even comes with a command line executable. Load your GIF, click convert, and go have a cup of coffee. It'll save a second copy, too; the original GIF(s) won't be harmed in the filming of this movie. Understand, though, that this will not vectorize the bitmapped GIFs. Meaning: them graphics ain't gonna be any more smooth than they were when you imported 'em.
