Solved: How do I add tags to a video file?
I use Video Edit Magic and VideoDub but neither has a mechanism for adding tags to my video files.

Sites like YouTube require videos you submit to be tagged. I want to comply with their requirement.

I assume these video tags are similar to MP3 ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, but even Google searches have not been helpful.

Do I need to buy a utility program to add these tags? -or-

Is the format simple enough I could just do a little patching with a HEX editor like AXE?

How about if you right click on the file and go to Properties > Summary tab.

You can edit Title and comments there.

How do I add tags to a video file?
Stantley -
I don't have a Summary tab when I look at Properties for my video files. I know what you mean, though. PowerPoint files do offer a number of tabs including Summary which includes a keywords section. If I could do this with video files, I would have an answer to my question.

I am using Win98se, BTW.
