| I was going to post this in all forums because it is a subject that needs addressed. If you want to add it to other forums go ahead I think it should be. Let's have suggestions to make it easier to find what you're looking for in Microsoft User Friendly Support. I know most who go there can't find what they are looking for and at times I have the same problems. So ladies and gentlemen let's have your suggestions. |

| Rick Here is a website for Outlook express I use to help find what I'm looking for. Since outlook express is very narrow in its program the gentleman was able to consolidate many of the issues concerning outlook express. It would be an major undertaking to specify groups in other areas with so many platforms and possible combinations of add ons. Would be nice though! http://members.home.net/jlpick99/oe.htm Dave

I am posting part of what is there so others can see how MS uses abreviation for keyword and that normal spelled keywords as we think of do not work. Note that if you search by using a small amount of keywords, you may receive a large amount of articles, possibly making it difficult to find the article you are looking for. Because of this, you may need to perform searches more than once (by making alterations as needed) to determine the best way to find the information you need. Other examples of queries include: wincomm and kbhw and modem This query locates articles that contain these keywords, and that relate to Windows communications topics (wincomm), computer hardware (kbhw), and modems. NOTE: "Modem" is not a keyword on the following list; in this example it is added to the search as an extra query word to help find any article that contains the word "modem." You can add additional words to your search if you think the word or words are likely to be in the article you want to find. The following section includes a more extensive list of most of the keywords used in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, by including product keywords, issue keywords, and informational keywords.
