This is quite amusing. The first time that I saw this posed was @ http://forums.techguy.org/3914242-post1037.html and was valid thru Sept. 6th. I loaded and the said that it would be around till the 13th of Sept. Now you say it has been extended for 3 more days. They (Bryce) must really be trying to push this software.

Daz has always given out free software to members.
Corel is who owned bryce but now Daz owns bryce and there is a bryce 5.5 out and soon a version 6 will be out.
They have lots and lots of add-ons they sell so they can make more money from that if they get others buying there software and upgrading to a newer version.

So don't think they are losing any money from doing this.

Poser was being given away also at another site but don't think many got the software because the site is super slow and then you could not get to the site. Plus to be a member they asked to many things that would make many back out.

hewee,
I didn't mean to sound sarcastic on the last post. I appreciate the heads-up and the link. I am starting to enjoy this program. I have installed Macromedia Flash 8 and that also is another great program but (of course) not free.

You did not sound that way to me. It does nice things and if you got the time and a good PC then make some videos. You can save them in a couple formats.

I have made some small short ones and saved them as .avi format.
Then I can open it in Ulead GIF Animator and save it as a .gif

My sister I think has Macromedia Flash 8 or one of there high cost programs. I think she has one that does more then just the Macromedia Flash 8.
But she has lots of other very high cost programs also.

Your welcome Pistoff.

But your fine Bryce tutorial's all over the web too. Nice to learn how things are made.
But also there are 1000's and 1000's of free pre-made objects you can download.

See post here.
http://forums.techguy.org/3914242-post1037.html

Also over here at http://www.renderosity.com/ there is the Free Stuff.
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/

Your have to be a member to get to it but you can pick from the dropdown Bryce and it will take you here to http://www.renderosity.com/mod/frees...p?section_id=2 and there are 1584 results on 66 pages. There is another dropdown to pick the type of thing your looking for too. Then if the download takes you to a web site you will have even more to pick from.
Misc has some things too. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/frees...?section_id=10

Then there are the Tutorials
http://camelot.renderosity.com/tut.ez

Right now the renderosity site is very slow because they are upgrading and it has been going on for months.
Your see links with camelot like above and then excalibur because are parts of the site that have temp links added to the name as the upgrade is going on.

Here are some other links for you.

QT movies here.
http://www.huntfor.com/3d/tutorials/bryce.htm

http://www.huntfor.com/3d/tutorials/bryce.htm

Some are in zips so you get the files so you can do the very same thing in the tutorials.
