Wink Mail server doesn't respond (Outlook Express 6.0)
If your ISP settings are correct and you get an error message that you cannot connect to the mailserver (if you're using Outlook Express 6.0) because it didn't resprond:
Open Outlook Express, choose Tools/Options/Security Tab and change the default setting from "Restricted Site Zones" to "Internet Zone".

OH! I think I can use this tip!!

I have been getting random errors and been on the phone YELLING with my ISP (the guy yelled at me first) sometimes it connects just fine, other times it won't connect at all. They kept telling me it was my computer, but we couldn't find anything wrong with my computer and I didn't have any other problems collecting emails from other sources.

So hopefully this resolves it! Thanks for posting this!

Well I guess that wasn't my problem. *sigh*

Here's the error I get
The server responded with an error. Account: 'MyTatouage/CWNET', Server: 'mail.cwnet.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

Each time it does it, it happens to a different email. I have 4 emails through my ISP, and I have 3 more with my server and 1 with gmail. All of those are collected at the same time, and the only ones that I get errored on are the CWNET ones. I also have one through my schools ISP, and it never errors either. I think it's a connection problem on their end.
