Post I find this site Helpfull
When repairing some of my clients computers I sometimes have to revert to this site to distinguish setting or even getting into the BIOS setup when a password is entered and forgotten.
I know that resetting the CMOS pins will do the same, but there is less of a chance of loosing new drivers that were installed.

Thats interesting, I've never heard of losing drivers when updating jumper settings etc.
Are you referring to bios password recovery attempts?
