My wife often needs exact images of quilt patterns from a magazene.
(these are necessary to make paper patterns of multiple pieces.)
Normal scan/print distorts (reduces) the 8 1/2 X 11" image because of the margin settings for printer.

I scan the image-then crop to SMALLER cut just barely outside the printed/photo part. I then PRINT/center on page.
