Speed up start menu folders
Works on all versions of windows. Click start, run, type regedit. Look for this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP

On the right side of the screen right click on menushowdelay, and choose modify. Default is 400, change to 0 for the fastest. Exit out of regedit, and either reboot, or log off your computer, then log back on. Click start, programs, and see how much faster those menus pop out.

Jimi,

If MenuShowDelay is not listed, you can create the string value yourself.

Follow the directions here.
