Microsoft Virtual Labs destroyed
http://technet2.microsoft.com/window...b/default.mspx

The above link is to a great microsoft tool called virtual labs where I was happily working my way through their series on server 2003.
Except its been killed by microsoft
"We are sorry, registration for this event is now closed. Please search for another event."
Why they don't either pull the website or just leave the damn thing alone and let those of us who want to use it continue I don't know.
There I was thinking "this is such a great way to learn".
And now, well you can only guess what I'm thinking.
Anybody know what the people at gatesland are doing?
Is this a permanent denial of service or will this great thing return?

Hi, kingmatt!

Where exactly on that website does it say "We are sorry, registration for this event is now closed. Please search for another event."?

I cant understand why Microsoft would want to pull down that sort of thing...

Where?
Thanks for the question.

On the page scroll down until you get to the group policy labs.
Click on one of the group policy labs. ( I chose managing group policy, but I've tried the m all and the same response)
When the page loads, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and voila.
I don't get either why they pulled it down when its so good.

That just means that that lab is "booked." They will probably do another one.

Booked Lab
Well I hope you are right.
Something that good was a complete surprise.
I'll keep trying to logon and update this thread if it happens.

You're not going to be able to get into an event that is closed. there are plenty of other open events.

Plenty of other events
I think you've missed the point.
I want to do the virtual labs on server 2003 subjects.
The other topics aren't what I am after.
