Smile Hidden System Files
To view All Hidden System Files

1-Left click start, left click ControlPanel, left click FolderOptions, click the View tab,
2-Now scroll down to Hidden Files & Folders, click the Show Hidden Files & Folders, uncheck Hide Extensions for Known FileTypes, click OK & close the Controlpanel.
3- Now left click Start, left click Explorer, click the + to expand each line, start with +MyComputer +LocalDiskC +Windows, left click INF file, look for & right click to open in NotePad the file sysoc.inf.
4-On each line look for the word Hide found at the end of each line between comas, on all lines delete the 4 letters Hide only, leave comas, at the top click File & click Save.
5-Left click the red X & close the File.
6-Right click on sysoc.inf & click install.
7-Now you can view all hidden System Files.
8-This helps for Tweaking files & to search for Attackers hiding in files.

The sysoc.inf file has nothing to do with Hidden files, but rather "apps" that are "hidden" from the Add/remove module.

It's a useful tip, just not correctly named.

Well, it needs to be rewritten, since #7 says "Now you can view all hidden System Files." and #8 says "This helps for Tweaking files & to search for Attackers hiding in files"

So, yes it's a useful tip to Unhide Add/remove programs but certainly not to Unhide files, as the tip implies!
