computer will not start up.

My computer would not start up at all, I replaced the motherboard. Then the fans would come on but nothing else, I replaced the cpu. Now the computer fans come on and the computer tries to come on, but cuts off before it starts all the way. Someone suggested I replace the video card. What do you think? Thanks
