3. Copy the attachment's URL.

4. Edit the post and do the following:

a. Add &ltimg src="">

b. Paste the URL between the quotes.

When you click on the link for the attachment, it opens another page with the picture. Copy the URL of the page and use it in step #4b.

Once you post your message with the
attachment, right click the attachment
link and choose "Copy Shortcut" (if you
have Netscape, click "Copy Link Location").

This is what you paste bewteen the
quotes when you edit your post again.

Or you can do like Ratboy suggested and
just load the attachment, then copy the
address from your browser's address window.

You must use the actual "less than" sign (<) in front
of "img src=". You used what is necessary to display
the "less than" sign for viewing.

There are a couple things you can't use in an HTML code like > and " and < and &. There are ways around those limitations and that is what is hard to understand. Me too!

Once we put that > and the < (of course in the wrong direction now) everything in the middle of it is code. <A HREF="http://archive.ncsa.uiuc.edu/General/Internet/WWW/HTMLPrimerPrintable.html#UR"> See here for explanation on linking</A>
