backing up cell phone data
I am wondering if anyone has any advice about backing up cell phone contacts, etc, to the computer. This is such a basic need that I don't understand why it's not something that cell phone makers are doing. If you lose your cell phone, there goes your card with 200 phone numbers on it...at the very least....why isn't there a demand by consumers for a simple way to back up your phone's card to the PC, so that if it was lost, you just upload the contacts, etc, to your new phone? People use their phones every day....and lose them every day...

There are a couple of products out there but I don't know much about them and the reviews are mixed. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge about this?

It would have helped a bunch if you told us the make/model of the phone.

I use the MobTime phone tools with my Motorola RAZR v3.
