Talking Solved: Customise a Keyboard.
Got a logitech cordless keyboard. I think it has a US Layout not UK. Set the Language Bar on XP to US and it's fine except I need, (Living in Britain) a £ sign not a $ sign. So I have to switch nthe language Bar to UK setting.

Then shift/3 key gives me £ and that's ok but I lose backslash and have to switch back to US setting.

Just want a simple way to leave everything as is ie: US Layout but swap the $ sign for a £ sign

Any ideas guys??

Brilliant. Worked perfectly. Little trial & errror plus a bit of common sense and ingenuity and it was spot on.
Thanks so much. 00.45 here so this silver surfer is off to bed a very happy guy.
