Shift key & scroll wheel
There are times when I resize a web page by holding the ctrl key & use the scroll wheel to enlarge it. Was doing it here lately and it was scrolling threw the different web sites I'd just visited.
Then I noticed I was holding down the Shift key not the ctrl key. This is a cool trick I've never seen before.

Hey, that works for me also. IE 6 and WinXPPro SP2. I just scrolled back through all the pages I had already gone to in TSG.
You have the right idea; learn by doing on the PC; etc. Treat that back with much respect.
