Norton best anti-virus scanner? Will anti-virus scanner just find, or will they eradicate from system if found??

reeltime,

Norton's anti-virus is a very good program and that's what I use.
Yes if you keep it up to date it will find, stop and Quarantine the virus for you.

Hewee is absolutly correct in referring Norton as a good scanner.
There is another I also recommend which is Innoculate and it used to be free but now is under the control of E-Trust at this Site. Many have had good results from the original Innoculate.
Norton is the product I use also since I have trusted Norton products for many years. One feature I like is how Norton protects the system by by creating what you could call a mini
system or room so to speak, it puts all incomming E-Mail in and scans it there before it even reaches your main system. Using E-Mail protect, items that are currently identified are qurantined before reaching your operating system. I am sure others do the same but again my experience has been with Norton.
Just my Two cents.
Dave
