How to create a shortcut to the 'Find' command:
I found this trick by POBrien on Winguides forum, and I think it's real nifty:

How to create a shortcut to find command:

Go to Start Menu/Find/Files or Folders.

Don't type anything in the named: section.
Change your desired path in the Look in: section.
Click Find Now.

You may get an error 'the number of files found exceeds the maximum number...'
Click OK.

After the search completes go to File on the menu and select Save Search. An icon will appear on your desktop. Drag it to the quick launch bar.

Now I know you can easily access the Find applet by clicking F3, or the Windows key + F, but I sort of like the logic behind this one...

Greetz,

Thanks, Very cool there.

I did what you said and it does work. I draged it to the quick launch bar and deleted the one copy from the desktop. It will not work if you don't have 'Find' command on your desktop. I don't what you get get on your desktop is a shortcut but it's a copy of the program and the shortcut is only what's in your quick launch bar.
