I followed his guide for turning services off several years ago.
That was a mistake.
Some of my apps like voice recognition either worked poorly or wouldn't start.

Learn what your tinkering with before taking general advice on complex functions.

There is good information there, as well as bad. Tinkering with things you don't understand is generally a bad idea unless you have total trust in the source of the "tip".
