Win. Live Messenger for 2000 Pro?
I posted this message in another forum in here awhile ago, but didn't get a reply so I'll try in here.

I want to download Windows Live Messenger, but under system requirements it does not mention Win. 2000 Pro. Can I still download it? Or do I need to find another version of Messenger?

Thanks.

works with win2k ... however, you can use Pidgin (ex GAIM for Windows) or Miranda IM as an alternative.

Thankyou for your suggestions. I went ahead and installed it anyway, but it would only give me MSN Messenger, not Live Messenger. So I guess there's a couple of features missing, one of them being offline messaging. No biggie tho...I've also got Yahoo Messenger if I want to send or receive offlines
