Regkey for disabling Windows Messanger?
Does anyone know the registry key to add to disable the Windows Messanger?

I think it's just some regkey that you add and set to 1 for disable or something like that.

Nevermind answered my own question. For XP users go to run and type gpedit.msc

That should bring up a Group Policy editor. For Windows Messenger it's under Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows Messenger

Of course gpedit.msc is only available on XP Pro and not on XP Home.

Here's the full MS article. It seems the preferred method depends on which version of Messenger you have:
