If you want MS Word you'll have to buy a new copy.

But you can get OpenOffice, a freeware Office Suite that will work with MS Word documents.

As said above, OpenOffice is free and works with word documents, but:

1) How did you lose word?
2) You can't download it free - that's illegal!

Quoting #1: what the hell happened??? how did you lose it?
Quoting #2, you are required to activate MS Office if you're gonna use the 2003++ versions. I'd rather use good old Wordpad or OpenOffice.

Depending upon your version you might be able to download the trial version and activate it using your old product key. Assuming you've got it.
