Siteadvisor - Very useful!
McAfee's site advisor is a fantastic plugin for Internet explorer and firefox. It adds a little box to your tool bar, and every site will either have a green box (All is good), yellow (lots of popups/spam e-mails or 1 malicious download), Red (bad downloads and/or Spam and pop-ups) or grey - Un rated. Very helpful as it lets you know when entering a not so nice site

Overall, a very useful website and piece of software.

the plugin is very good except i've been having problems with it in firefox so i decided to uninstall the plugin. It's a good plugin in ie but in firefox it causes problems with other addons. i think its been an issue with other firefox users. if you use ie, i would definitely recommend it.

It's good as long as it's used with common sense.

I use it in Firefox with no problems - wonder why you encountered problems?

SiteAdvisor is a nice tool in both IE and FF - never had a problem in either browser. Its a good guideline for the site you are visiting.

Part of the SiteAdvisor rating is based on user reviews. You can register to be a reviewer by right clicking on the SiteAdvisor button and clicking on Register in the upper right corner. You can then praise your favored sites and report problem sites to warn the community.
