transfering photographs to cd
I used to burn photographs to cd before took tower to repair man and had everthing wiped out because of malware. I put in kodak easy share cd back in, but now cannot burn my photos to cd. it says"CANNOT DETECTCD-R DRIVE" WHAT CAN i DO?

Welcome to the forum . . look in Device Manager to see what the cd description is.

Right click on My Computer . . Select Manage . . then Device Manager. Click the + in front of the DVD/CD ROMs line and see what is there.

Could have been a bad disk burn. I'm guessing you didn't try to open any of the files right after you burned them.

Unfortunately most people don't realize that the process of backing up data is only half of the solution. The other half is verifying the validity of the backup.

Too much coffee today?? I think the poster is trying to burn photos to cd, not recover photos from a cd.
