cleaning TV screen
I have a 53FDXD01B HITCHI projection TV need to remove outer screen to clean inside?? Help Thanks

Why not call the Hitachi hotline for help - there has to be a 1-800 phone number - tell them what looks like needs to be done, and ask them what they recommend you do. Don't tell them that you want to remove the outer screen, but you might ask them if that is involved in what you need done - then ask them if they could tell you how to do it and get it back on.

I logged onto Samsungs website and bought the product they recommended for my slimfit CRT. I returned it the next day and am still trying to get the residue off the screen that the product left behind. Hot water on a clean white t-shirt seems to work the best for me and doesn't appear to be removing the film the factory puts on these glass surfaces.
