Received an offer
I am trying to get rid of my Intel Quad Core 65nm G0 Core stepping Q6600 model CPU OEM still NIB. I wanted money for it but I got an offer from someone in my school. He wants to give me:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz (used) oem CPU
Intel Pentium D 8 something 2.8 GHz (used and oem) CPU
1GB PC 4200 533 MHz DDR2 Ram.

CPU's are both socket 775 according to him. Now the ram isn't something I am fond of because minimum I put in Computers is 667MHz. I would put some of them in my bro's computer.

Is this an offer I can accept? Is it worth something or should I wait to see if he will slap something else in the offer? Alone, would the offer be good enough to most people?

All help is appreciated.

I'd rather have the quad core processor.

But I want to get rid of it before the 45nm tech drops down in price. Yes the quad core seems to be a better option for considering but is the offer decent at least?

Hard to say, I only know if I had the quad-core processor, I wouldn't be trading it for that connection.
