Hi,
Some files can be recovered. I've used these free progs to recover files I've accidently deleted:
'Restoration' by Brian Kato via 'Snap Files'
'Recuva' (cant recall website) try Google?
'PCFileInspector' try Google.

These are not high tech forensic tools - perhaps others can make suggestions.

I hope this is of help?

these folks happen to be giving away a copy of
EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard today, you have around 29 hours left to grab yourself a copy

people who have done so seem to think it's okay in the blog on the site
